About Violet Theory
Chris Cofoni and Victoria White are the pair behind Violet Theory, a country-influenced project blending classic storytelling with strong melodies, modern production and timeless songwriting.
Violet Theory was formed in 2025 after Chris was introduced to Victoria at the Thirsty Beaver in Westerly, Rhode Island, where he was playing with another band. The two quickly discovered a natural musical chemistry. Later that fall, Chris and Victoria began performing together and developing what would become the Violet Theory sound.
Since then, the duo has written and produced three original songs set for release in the summer of 2026. Victoria’s sultry vocals paint a rich tapestry of sound, blending strength and vulnerability, while Chris provides the musical foundation and production. Together, they create music that feels both familiar and fresh, with broad appeal to today’s audiences.
Along with their original music, Violet Theory covers time-honored tunes from Johnny Cash to Morgan Waller and all your favorite country, rock and pop hits in between. Violet Theory is well on their way to establishing a unique spot in the singer songwriter field. Violet Theory is available for weddings and private events, performing as a duo, trio, or full band.
